Redondo Beach, CA, resident and California State University alumnus Paul Molles is a visual effects producer who has worked on films with studios like Paramount Pictures, New Line Cinema, and Disney. Outside of his professional pursuits, Paul Molles enjoys watching Major League Baseball's (MLB) Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Dodgers made a minor transaction prior to the 2019 trade deadline, but it has proven to be a major success. Los Angeles acquired 33-year-old utility player Kristopher Negron from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for infielder Daniel Castro on July 29. Negron had played only 10 games with the Mariners this season and has only played 155 through six seasons in the MLB. Conversely, he has played 1,439 games in the minor leagues. Negron didn't hit a home run in his 10 games with the Mariners, but recorded one in his first at bat as a member of the Dodgers. He had a .391 batting average in his first seven games with the team and, while he has cooled off, still maintains a .268 batting average to go along with two home runs and seven RBI. Beyond his abilities at the plate, the fact he can play in the outfield, as well as at three different infield positions, makes him an asset to the Dodgers. |
